We are family – TKD family

One of the things that we always stress with our programs is that all our students, instructors, parents, everyone involved with the program become so much more than just our students, instructors and parents, they become family! What we call our taekwondo family.

We strive to provide an atmosphere where students and parents alike feel safe, welcomed, part of something bigger, part of a family. One of the neatest and most impressed things I’ve witnessed as an instructor/owner is to watch groups of kids become so close they are hanging out together outside of the studio as well. We had a particular group of kids that became so close when we first started our Demo Team. They were all in middle school at the time we started and are now mostly in college or about to graduate from high school. Al though many of them have gone their separate ways and some do not train any longer they continue to stay in touch. One of those students is now in the United States Marine Corp and lives in California. They all had several zoom calls during quarantine just to take the time to catch up and see each other. It makes this instructor happy to see those friendships forged by one common thing, martial arts, still intact after all these years.

We receive continued support from the parents and families that have been part of the program at one point or another throughout the years. These families not only support our studios, but they also support each other. A family atmosphere is a must and we like to promote that feel for all our students that journey through our program.

Martial Arts has many benefits that are commonly known such as focus, self-esteem, self-confidence, bully proofing, flexibility and so much more. However, one of the most valuable aspects of the program is the development of life-long friendships.
